Was their burn what smoked up Roanoke yesterday afternoon? Could smell smoke downtown and on Mill Mtn and there was a haze... Weird. I hadn't heard about any real fires yesterday.
Actually, the burn was out on Kessler Mill Road at the Regional Training Center. I doubt the smoke/smell would have made it to downtown Roanoke. I do not know of any fires downtown at that time.

Did anyone care to let the county recruits know that their gear was as dirty as it will ever be on that day?
