I love the knot in the hose, dont ask me how it got there, but it didnt seem to affect us from getting the job done. I thought the two newest guys there did a great job and what can you say about Bailey, he is just a one man wrecking crew. Priest you come back and work w/ us anytime.
Beans
Well Ive just got to say something. You need to do some hose evolutions over and over and over till you get this right. Yes I do not know all the circumstances but this can be avoided. You might have not had trouble this time, but what if you need that 3 feet your losing in a freakn knot in the ATTACK hose you boob. Train as if it is the real deal. Capt.? train your men better. Thats the bottom line..this aint rope 1,2,3 its bread and butter firefighting. Deploy the right way, not some Damn firehouse spaghetti. and did we forget to use the hall runners or you guys to young for that to..while taken pics instde the house how bout doin the third thing on the big list, CONSERVE PROPERTY. Learn it, do it.

Beans the OLD GUY !!!!
I like the picture of the two guys smiling after someones house burned up. I'm glad no one got hurt because of the knot. Hope they pull all the cross lays off and check them, so it does not happen again !!
There house did not burn up. Just to let you know, the house suffered very little damage. The contents barely even had any smoke damage. However it must have been bad enough that the family got all kinds of free hand outs(clothes, toys, and even money). The family was displaced and did suffer minor loses. But not to the efects as they stated on the news. When disaster strikes and people need help, I think that we should do what ever we can to help them. But I do not think that when the oppurtinity presents itself that it should be taken advantage of.
You Boobs made the national spotlight with your hose tying class/fire. Someones personal belongings and possibly life in that class/fire. I still cant get over this. Someones excuss was that the fire wasnt that bad. Great thinkn there. Look up at Rhetts talk about the number of FF deaths year round and how quick things go bad. Read some of the reports from NIOSH. These are great learning tools for you Knot tying FF's. who happen to think it is just ok and funny. Yeah I know its done and over with. Ill drop it.
Ol Grumpy
