IAFF FIREPAC Targets McCain in TV Ad

Maybe you have seen this ad running on tv, maybe not. Before you say that your Union dues are paying for this, they are not. This is paid for by the IAFF FIREPAC, which some of you may fund voluntarily. The firefighters in the ad are from Fairfax County. The ads were created in three forms, the one you see and two others taking aim at McCain as well as two other State Senator races I believe in North Carolina and New Hamshire.

Obama Worshipers Liberal propaganda. The McCain plan plan gives a tax credit of $5,000 for families and $2,500 for individuals. Do the research before believing this Democratic garbage.

The McCain Plan DOES NOT tax:

-Premiums paid by families and individuals
-Employers for providing health care coverage
-Medical expenses like the cost of a procedure or medication
-Insurance claims

City employees pay about $430 monthly for insurance. That comes to $5160 per year. The McCain $5000 insurance tax credit will nearly cover the entire amount. Don't be fooled by the media BS.

gosh darn
they scared me into voting for obama --- not!

if there were only one reason to not support obama, it is because he would revise the constitution -
the second is the way he is spending to buy the election -
open your eyes folks, you don't believe me now, but if he wins, in the next year a lot of you will be saying WTF?????

Anonymous said...

He will revise the constitution. Get real. Be honest and just say you are not voting for him because he is black. There is no need to be scared he is not going to put white people in slavery. Africans Americans are not going to steal the Country from you like your ancesors stole from the Indians.

If you would like for Mccain to spend more, I say donate more to his campain. No need to be mad because Obama has more donors and is using his money wise, not out having a $15,000 clothing allowance.

Not sure what kind of insurance you have where the city only pays $430 a month. I guess things are alot cheaper where you live. Just know that the $5000 that Mccain will give you will be taxed so your yearly income will go from $45,000 a year to $50,000. With Obama plans if you like what you have things will stay the same with your premiums going down. The people with no insurance will be able to get the same type your lovley Senators have. And yes parents will have to get insurance on there kids or pay a fee, but with them having insurance it should cut down on some of your BS calls where instead of going to the ER they will have a primary care doctor they can visit. If you didnt know people with no insurance use the ER like it is there doctor.

If you like what Bush has done the past 8 years then McSame should be your vote. If not I say Obama.

I hope you had fun writing that -
race is not an issue with me - guess you think anyone that doesn't like him is a racist and anyone that doesn't like him is for mcCain - what a simple world for you. I don't believe he can do half the stuff he says and is in over his head on the rest. I am worried regardless which one wins.
But he worries me the most, especially on foriegn affairs. We will all know more soon, but then we'll be paying the price. Change is an ambiguous word.
vote for me, I'm not the other guy

Anonymous said...

I'm not calling you a racist, but saying that the one reason not to vote for Obama is because he will revise the constitution sounds like you really reaching for a reason other than your real reason. If you want someone to believe other wise talk about Mccain's issues like the first post.

Anonymous said...

I feel that a lot of people WILL vote for him because he is black and really have no clue as to his stance on issues. Look at the increase in voter registrations throughout the country and where they were targeting registrants. I am no where near being racist I'm just looking at the facts. Personally I don't think it matters who wins because they won't be able to do half the things they say they are going to do. The Country is a screwed up mess right now and no one can fix it in four years

Anonymous said...

Is that a "beep beep beep" I hear from your first comment. Don't worry you can back-up from it. Are you saying that only certain people should be able to vote. Not really sure what you mean by where they are targeting,or what facts you are looking at. You right no one person will be able to fix the country, it will take everyone. I do think you are wrong about it doesnt matter who win because that is what happen eight years ago with Gore, people didn't think it mattered who won and you see what Bush has gotten us in.

Anonymous said...

No I'm not saying that only certain people should vote. I feel that everyone should go out and vote, that is a priviledge that we have as Americans. What I'm saying is look at the number of new voters, look at their socioeconomic background. I think that these people will go out and vote for Obama only because he is black, not for what he stands for. I personally think he has a lot of good ideas but I'm not voting for him because he has no experience and he is too much of a Socialist. Granted Palin was a very bad pick for McCain (she is HOT though)but he should have never picked her, but I think he would make a better President than Obama.

Anonymous said...

Ever Heard of reverse racism? It means-You're racist just because you say we're not voting for him because he's black.

Anonymous said...

Iam not afarid to say that i am Racist. Not everyone is EQUAL! why do people tip toe and dance around the issue and try to ack like they are not. There are more than just white racist people. Do you think that that all blacks like white people. I will not vote for OBama even if the IAFF try to tell me too! And that the bottom line .

Anonymous said...

Okay. I'm tired of all this CRAP. NO ONE said anything about Obama being black on this blog entry until the #4 post. WTF? If I choose not to vote for Obama, it's not because he's black. It's because what I feel is a priority and my personal beliefs are different from his. Some of us are able to make an educated decision-unlike you. Don't open your mouth because nothing but $hit falls out. It shows how ignorant you really are. All of these liberals are trying to make this election all about race. It's not about racial issues until you make it one. How dare you tell me why I'm voting for someone. Why I'm voting or Not voting for someone is not up for you to decide, and it doesn't have to be whom you vote for. It's because of your mentality and others like you that I NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA.

Please educate me...

What makes Hussien Obama/Joe Biden more qualified than Palin? Is it because Obama is a junior senator ( 2 years in the senate)or Biden who is a lifelong DC politician who has never had a real job (30+ years in the senate)? She was a mayor and a governor (in charge of the Alaska National Guard). She has managed a multi-million dollar budget, supervised thousands of employees, and can kill large animals with a non-scoped rifle(pow-pow).

I do not understand what qualifications she needs to be VP. Does she need to be a junior senator who hangs out in a racist church for 20 years or pals around with domestic terrorists (William Ayers)who admitted to bombing numerous buildings in the United States? His buddies set bombs and start fires and firefighters respond to put them out them. I guess that is job security for firefighters. He admitted to launching his political career in the guys living room in Chicago.

Heck, I though McCain was the one running for president, not Pailin.

Just look at Obama's past. He has ties to terrorist groups. How can anyone look past that. Why will he not provide his birth certificate. Maybe because he was born in Africa. Then moved to Asia where he went to school, under the Islamic faith. With Iraninan leaders praising his every move.(Fact) You can not be elected President if you are not a natural born citizen PERIOD. It scares me to think that a man can scam his way into the White House and have millions of American supporters cheer him on. Please do your homework before you believe everything that comes out of a man's mouth. Believe in change. (Thats' exactly what you might get.) Oh bye the way, you can thank the likes of Pelosi and her cronies for the financial mess we are in. The media has you blinded. Don't believe me then look it up on line. It will have all the evidence you need.

Anonymous said...

Talk about doing your homework...Obama has released his Birth Certificate in June of 2008 and it is valid (according to the Hawaii Department of Health). If you're not going to vote for Obama. Fine- I'm not. But please. Don't be so ignorant as to hear rumors and not investigate them before running your mouth. It's called EDUCATING yourself. Here's just one link from an independent investigative site:
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2008/jun/27/obamas-birth-certificate-part-ii/
There's several others. I guess if you're going to continue to believe all of this crap-you're going to overlook the fact that if Obama's trying to hide something from his past, the coverup would have to:
1.have been started at the moment of birth
2. would have to include such things as the Hawaii hospital in which he was born, the Hawaii department of records, the Social Security Office, the Ill. department of records, the marriage certificate to his wife, his children's birth certificates
3. would have to include every family member, every childhood friend, every teacher, every person he ever met.
Come on guys. Don't be so damned stupid. If you're not going to vote for Obama, or even McCain for that matter, please have good reasons. We definatley do not need someone in the whitehouse that a bunch of ABSENTMIDED, big mouthed, fools put into office.
Think about things a little more than you are.

Just putting this out there....I am voting for McCain because I believe he is better prepared to run our military. Wow big deal? Think about it. Who is gonna give a poop (pause for giggle, cause I said poop) about the price of gas, your home lossed in foreclosure or that you can not afford to feed your family, when we have the enemy invading our country. Or worse, when we are being attacked by cowards with suicide bombings. You see, my thoughts are yes the economy and taxes are important, but our freedom and security are more. And I'll be able to go down town and walk around with my family without wondering if the car next to me will blow up.

Anonymous said...

Darlene manages a multi million dollar budget and she is pathetic. Palin is a wortheless liar and is the sole reason McCain will lose this election.
Personally, Im not a fan of Obama but I really dont care if he does not put his hand on the bible, who he hung out with in his past, or that he is a liar. All politicians lie to get what they want, which is your vote.
I'd like to see Lou Ferrigno run because he turns green when he gets mad and talks like he is deaf.

Anonymous said...

I have to agree with the previous post. None of the issues, economy, health care, taxes, etc, is as important as fighting the terrorists overseas. The thing about not knowing if your car will explode is a good point. If you think it is not possible in the USA, just remember back to Sept 11, 2001 when terrorists flew airplanes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

No one ever thought such as thing was remotely possible. Well, it happened and now we are paying for it. I too will hold my nose and vote for McCain because he is the only that is qualified to serve in that capacity as Commander-in-Chief. Not because he is a genius or anything like that. He is not. But as a former POW, he is a hard ass against terrorists and will not bow down to the Taliban or Al Qaida like Obama has said he would do if he were elected.

Obama admitted to agreeing to holding meetings with terrorists to negotiate our security. Thanks, but no thanks Mr. Obama. Now is not the time for a weak President. Stay in the Senate where you can continue to vote "present"(134-times) on legislation because you are too scared to take a stand. If he can not vote yea or nay on a bill, how is he going to be able to make a decision on national security?

Has anybody that is voting for Obama done any research on their Presidential hopeful? I'm not saying McCain isn't a politician, but lets look at some of the facts: Obama yes, has raise more money then any other candidate but if you look at the records most of his money is in 200 dollar increments which is anonymous donations, fine but the money is being tracked to outside the USA just like his Palestinian T- shirts. OUTSIDE MONEY! Last I seen you had to be a citizen of the US to vote or contribute. Which brings me to another unanswered question, ACORN? Before the left wing liberals get on their soap box, I agree that even US citizen has the right to vote. Many men and women have died for us to have this privilege! This does not mean multiple times, stealing identities, voting from the dead, or even cartoon characters (even though they seem to have more common sense). What about Biden’s statement referring to Obama being tested? Yes, either candidate will be tested in these times, but please have some damn experience! I can here the keyboards now, Sarah Palin, Sarah Palin. She has more or the same experience as the Democratic Presidential candidate. She's in the VP spot that’s Vice President. Oh, that’s right she's female, can't have that. Chauvinistic Pigs! But McCain voters are racist.

One other thing, can we say Democratic Congress. These idiots have been the majority leaders for the last 2 yrs! What has that done for us? Not a damn thing, except screw things up even more! I know Bush haters, do you what another 8 yrs of the same? Lets get off that horse too! The damn thing has a broken leg and multiple gun shot wounds it’s not going anywhere (buy an electric car)! But do we want a President that is the most liberal ever and a Congress that kisses his ass? I hope not!

Well, thank you for letting me voice my opinion in this incredible country! God willing we can continue to have these rights that our fore fathers bestrode upon us. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

We can go back and forth about who could do a better job or who is ready, but, if you ask Obama's running mate Joe Biden, he said that Obama wasn't ready to lead and be president. He's never said that about McCain. Even Obama's running mate doesn't beleive in him. If Obama wins the election the person running the country will be Joe Biden.

In today's news, Democrat Barney Frank (the guy who is in cohoots with Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac) has already started planning new legislation for when Obama becomes president. The liberal left are planning to renew the ban on United States off-shore oil drilling and deny the ability to drill for oil in ANWAR. Even though the citizens of Alaska are begging to drill for their own oil(yes, it will take a few years to turn oil into gas, but it is a start). If this happens, do not complain that we have to import oil from foreign countries who hate us and jack up the price of gas. I guess we can plan on higher gas prices and maybe just forget the cars and start walking to the firehouse. It will be difficult to drag those lawn mowing trailers around by hand!

Well left winger, you obviously don't think at all since you will be voting for Obama. For the selfish comment, being on the left you want the government to give, give, give, do, do, do. Why don't you move to Canada or Europe and you can be a socialist just like them. Or stay here and I'll contiune work hard to get what I want and also pay for you!! Thats why I'm voting for McCain, if you work hard you can keep what you get.But thankfully we live in a country that we can agree to disagree. Thanks to the sacrifices of the men and women who fought for your freedoms(like McCain)!

I would hate to think I have to go through life holding my hand out looking to someone politician to take away someone elses taxes and give to me because I cant make it on my own.

According to Obama, the more money the working people earn, the more the government can take away and give to the ones that are too sorry to work and make it on their own.

I guess that is where I just dont understand the IAFF supporting Obama. All the firemen I know are very hard working individuals that work extra jobs and who make it on their own without the government handouts.

Anonymous said...

Sure, but if I move to Canada, you need to move to a right wing country, like Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Rwanda, or all of the other Theo-Fascist nations. You should feel every bit at home there as I would in Canada.
I worked hard all my life, and I have plenty of money as a result of my hard work, so you are hardly in a position to tell me about work, you arrogant snob.
Yes, I am voting for Obama. Yes, at my wealth level, I would save much more in taxes if McCain would get elected. But also, I have seen things that you have not. I have seen the unbridled greed of many of the people that I have come in contact with at this level of comfort. I have heard them talk about the working class, and how much more they could profit if they fire all their american workers, and move their businesses overseas so they can take advantage of the low wages of the foreign workers and the lack of governmental oversight, as well as tax breaks from our own government. I have heard them pass information around about how to dodge fair labor practices, and how they can screw their employees and still save money through litigation, as long as it is a large enough move to make it worth their while.
I started at the bottom, and it makes me sick. What is most bothersome about it is that these people all go to church, and are considered as pillars of the community and are major contributors to the Republican Party.
So, you, my friend, can vote for whoever you want. But, I can tell you this. If you are middle class, and work hard for a living, it will be a cold day in hell before the Republican Party does a damn thing for you and your family. The Republican Party power people are the greedy, elitist wealthy. They are looking out only for themselves, and how to get their profit margins higher, on the backs of the middle class and the poor. They feel that it is easier to increase their wealth, not by working harder, but making the rest of the world poorer. I have seen it and heard it personally. The Democratic Party is not much better, but at least they feel they have a responsibility to everyone, and not only themselves.
So, spare me your "hard work" rant. Been there, done that. I am more than willing to pay my fair share of taxes because I feel I have been blessed, and part of that blessing is the responsibility to help others, and my nation. Being in this great country gave me the opportunity to excel, as I have, in business and riches. Unlike my other wealthy friends, I do not believe that my status is what makes this country great. It is the nation as a whole, and everyone deserves respect, not just those who can afford it.
So, vote for whomever you want, but I know more about both parties than you ever will. Make your decision based on your level of knowledge, but lose the ignorant misconception that you know something that has escaped my attention.

You do not.

Anonymous said...

Wow, struck a nerve. Theo-fascist no, realist yes. My hat is off to you and the wealth you have obtained. Yes I may not have been there and done that, nor do I have that mentality. I agree there is a lot or greed and corruption in this world. Along with my favorite go to church 3 times a week and stab you in the back tomorrow. Alot of corporations yes, have left the US and gone over seas with American jobs. But with your vast knowledge please explain and I know you will with your arrogance. How does it help by raising taxes on these business, if it is cheaper to go over seas and then ship their product back into the country? So how are we going to get them back? Not that way?

Being middle class and hard working why do I want any government or political party helping me? I also have come from no money and have worked my ass off for my very small piece of the apple pie. There were no government hand outs, no breaks, or no trust funds for that matter. Nothing … but hard work and determination just like many Americans. Along the way I still give what I could to help others with less. So why should I now have the government tell me who they think needs my hard earned money more then me. I'm all about helping those less blessed, but I will be not give money to lazy ass people that think they deserve something because of there laziness!

"Make your decision based on your level of knowledge, but lose the ignorant misconception that you know something that has escaped my attention". Because been there done that, YOU DON'T!

FOR F#&%’s SAKE! Give it a rest people. Take a second and think back..back way WAY before any of us but just far enough to remember your history classes. Remember that chapter??? I think it was about a war or something. Its foggy, but I think they called it the Revolutionary war. I think a lot of people died. Some of them may have even been our ancestors and if I remember correctly, they were fighting for freedom.. for freedom from taxation without representation (this war was soon followed by something called the Civil War where again we were fighting for our freedom). Our great great whatever grandfathers etc fought to get out from under British(then Northern) rule, and now look at us. What EXACTLY is a DEMOCRAT anyhow? Or a REPUBLICAN for that matter. Better yet, who gives a shit? Here’s another shocker.. McCain alone cant guarantee your right to keep your gun. No more than Obamha can take them away ALONE. Along the same lines, neither can raise or lower our taxes by themselves. All this bickering makes me want to PUKE! Man / woman, white / black tax raises / cuts big deal. Give me a midget with a 18 year old lesbian daughter and I’ll show you how to cast a vote. The way you guys are making it sound, my pick would be just as good as any of the ones running. Speaking of lesbians, why not debate sex on this site??? How about religion? No, you would never post you opinions on those kind of issues right? Benefits? Health? Safety? I didn’t think so. I know, lets have a spelling contest! Well here’s a hint, be consistent...keep your mouths shut, your opinions to yourselves, vote for who YOU want to and quit trying to tell me how to cast MY vote.
