Auxiliary Pumpkin Farm Trip

Hey guys,

I am a little late on this due to being busy, but it was posted and emailed out on the Local 1132 site. The Roanoke Firefighters Auxiliary is having a trip to the Layman Family Corn Maze today (Sunday) at 2pm. Check out the Local 1132 site for more (Link).

Dam, i would have went if the info would have been own here sooner. Rhett is really starting to let me down with his non-caring attitude towards the department. Thanks for the help "union brother". This department has turned into what have I done latey for MYSELF!!

Oh yeah, Blame Rhett. That info was on here earlier, and this post is a repost of the info. Don't blame Rhett if you don't read this blog regularly, or haven't given your email address to the local.

What have you done for the Local lately? And besides that, you are not much of a "Union Brother" if you turn on another brother at the drop of a hat, and insist on tearing a brother down rather than helping him, or her, out.

Q:"more importantly who the hell is richard saunders?"

A:Ben Franklin.

But I would guess that a certain Chief of airport operations is responsible for quoteing him here. Seems like his style.

I'm sorry but I can't hold it any longer as the wife of a firefighter and an auxiliary member. Weren't you taught if you have NOTHING nice to say then don't say it at all? Where have you been all the other times the auxiliary has had a function? If you want to B**CH then do it about something else not about a family thing. Where do you get off saying Rhett doesn't have a caring attitude and THANKS "union brother"? He does have a family, job and life outside of the dept. If you don't well I'm sorry for you. From this little bit of info you come up with the department is all about ME ME ME - I'm sorry but I wouldn't consider you a "brother" because a "brother" would do that to one of their own.

I have seen first hand how "union brothers" help each other out - being both on the giving and receiving end. I hope one day you don't find yourself in a situation where you need your "union brothers". When they don't come you have no one to blame but yourself because all you do is tear them down.

re: "Non-caring attitude towards the department."
WHAT in the Hell?
Rhett: a union officer, a ffcu worker, with a blog dedicated to the fire department. Yup, seems pretty un-involved to me.
Go to Walmart and buy youself a pumpkin, BROTHER. Don't really want you around, anyhow.

Tim was so learned that he could name a horse in nine languages. So ignorant that he bought a cow to ride on.

I once ate a pumpkin pie to find out that it was actually sweet potato instead. Had I known, thine would have splurged for an apple pie instead.

the joke is on all of you idiots; that first comment is pure sarcasm. It is way to easy to fret in this department.

I took the first comment to a joke, maybe everyone needs to learn how to relax & stop thinking everyone is being shi*&*(.....

Oh...Now I get it, Sarah Palin-That was your lame attempt at a joke. I'm glad you backed up to punt.

It's also was easy to sound like an ass when you shoot off at the mouth.

Michael Overacker said...

Okay, I doubt it, but maybe it was a joke. If it was just a joke, why didn't you sign your name? By sending it anonymously, it appears that you wish to cower from the adverse reaction to your words, which, you are still doing.

I sign my name.

If Overacker would keep his site up to date I would not have to be fretting Fleitz. You people are slugs, need to get your priorities straight, I can not do all of this by myself. Since Mikey has retired he has forgot all about us and moved on to bigger things leaving us w/ just memories of the department the way it use to be.
Oh yea, I stay anonymous cause I dont want you guys to beat me up and make fun of me, hell look at you two.

Fretting Fleitz? I guess I missed the fret. Sorry to disappoint. Either way, I am not exactly sure what you are talking about, I guess if I paid attention to all the comments I might, but I merely scan through them and post them. I don't have the time, and I don't know if anyone else does either to put together which anonymous is talking about what the other anonymous said or which anonymous said what and then replied to another anonymous...you get it.
