I was looking at the photos from this fire on Overackers site, who's the person in jeans backing someone up on a hoseline? I didn't realize the city was testing jeans again! I see in the story that Chief 2 and 3 were on scene? Can someone call the County and see when the last time one of their admin chief's was called from home to a respond to a fire scene??? If you guys can't trust your battalion chief's maybe you should replace them.
Not just testing jeans but chief officers are testing jeans. Enlarge that pic, looks like chief **tman to me .... can't make out the first to letters ....
Dispatch through cad calls chiefs 1,2 and 3. We dont call for them, The fire always goes out and we dont see very many chief officers there. The only thing i can say about the pics are this.If we had enough manpower on the scene in the first place some chief in jeans would not have to help out on the hose line.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the last county fire scene I saw started out as an attic fire and your B.C on scene pulled everybody out and now there is nothing left of that house. If ya scared, say your scared. I'm sorry but I wouldn't be bragging about your B.C's
not sure what you are talking about! But the county does not have alot to talk about you burn down everything you go to!
Hey Guys-- BROTHERHOOD!!!!
I'd rather be pulled out alive!
Yea yea, brotherhood is all fine and dandy. I like alot of the county guys alot....but the truth hurts. They burn down everything they go to. The Nicholas Hill fire is a prime example. Hey here's a tip, big fire = big water. That house shouldnt look like that given its location and time of day! It wanst the vollys responding to it!
Talking about manpower on this fire? Well if you were there and listened to your radio you would have heard that 2 engine companies and a ladder company were turned away. That was you manpower you were looking for.
I heard that Co. Ladder 5 sat right in front of the house for the entire fire.
Talk about a waste of a resource.
Ouch..seeing as there was probably only 2 of them on the ladder then....well you know the rest.
Why don't we worry about our problems and let the county deal with their problems.
Knowone was hurt, the fire is out, and the owner had insurance.
Hey lighten up, we're ragging on someone other than our own for once!
Even the volunteer Chief's show up in turnout gear!! Noone including myself better say anything else about the ticks until we fix our own problems!
