Roanoke Fire-EMS Release Fire Victims Name
The Roanoke Fire-EMS Department has an update to the fire that occurred on November 19, 2006 at 927 5th St.
71 year old Carolyn Perry died from injuries sustained in the fire.
The cause and origin of the fire are still under investigation.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and I want to give a big pat on the back to J. Burrows and M. Burden, along with Capt. Furrow for doing an outstanding job in performing S&R. What a difference a 5 man Truck crew can make on a fire scene. The boys at Engine 6 did a great job as well. Good job guys and agian pray for the family.
Amen! I was on that fire and ladder 1 engine 6 and Medic 6 did a good job! The engine was parked on the corner the ladder truck took the address. the search was quick and the engine had the fire knocked in just a few mins. Again GOOD job guys!
