Fireproof the Movie
I just got a phone call from a woman who wanted to make sure that her Roanoke Firefighters knew about this movie which is apparently playing at the Tanglewood Cinema. She called the RFFA office. The name of the movie is Fireproof. I heard about this movie some time ago and had since forgotten about it. Check out the website and watch the trailer. By all appearances it seems like a movie about Firefighters, the main character having issues with his marriage. I don't know if all of the issues are due to him being a firefighter, but I do know that it is not the easiest job to have while keeping our home lives intact. I think I might check it out. Case and point, if you think about Backdraft, Ladder 49, Rescue Me, and Third Watch - they all deal with Firefighters and their !#$@#%ed up personal lives relating to the job.

All of the movies and shows you listed are fake and unrealistic, so I'll stick to the cop shows.
This movie is a faith based movie, about a Fire Captain whose marriage is on the verge of divorce.
in other words it will suck
i saw, i mean, my wife saw this movie being discussed on Dr Phil..Looked like a Lifetime Network movie, not that i would know.
Oh my God.... A firefighter chick-flick. Just what I need......NOT!!!!
I have seen the movie, it is a chick flick, but it is not that bad, it would be a good movie to take your wife to. it is faith based but judging from some of the recent posts on this site we could all use a little faith right now
Faith, my ass. What we need are facts. This administration hides from facts, or spins them to their benefit. Faith is for those waiting for someone else to do their work.
The faith that this movie is refering to is not faith in a person like you are refering to. So first, we need to seperate the movie from this administrations problems. Second, If we had someone leading this department with faith they wouldn't be all over the place with their answers and they would be straight forward with the people they represent.
I cried my eyes out!
No, the faith I was talking about is the one where people sit around and pray for a higher force to intervene for them when they should be working to solve their problems.
Hey "I cried my eyes out". How did you find your way out of the theater?
They are fixing their problems themselves, they are doing it from strength within themselves. I'm not sure why this has turned into a debate of religion because of a movie. Beleive in what you want, nobodies forcing this movie on anybody.
amen.. ;)
