Two Fires in Roanoke This Morning
Roanoke Fire-EMS was busy this morning fighting two residential fires.
Fire at 832 Marshall Ave. SW 0855 hours.
Engine 3, Engine 5, Engine 7, Ladder 7, Battalion Chief 1, RS-1 responded for a structure fire. Engine 3 marked on scene with heavy smoke and flames showing from the second story. No injuries reported.
Fire at 4533 Thirlane Road NW lot #27 0911 hours.
Engine 10, Engine 2, Engine 13, Engine 9, Ladder 13, Medic 9, Battalion Chief 2 responded for a structure fire. Engine 10 arrived to find heavy smoke and flames showing. The fire was quickly brought under control. No injuries reported. One family was displaced by the fire.
